Summary: The seal and vision of a mask but weight of goggles
Comment: I'm a recreational swimmer who goes to the pool a couple times a week for cross training. I've never been able to use regular goggles without getting leakage around my eyes. I could, by pulling the strap very tight, manage to keep the leakage to a minimum, but that was very uncomfortable. With these goggles, for the first time, I get no leakage because of the larger seal area. As a result, I don't have to pull the strap tight at all and for the first time ever, my goggles don't hurt. In addition, my vision is greatly improved. The lenses have more area to them so you get more peripheral vision and very clear view ahead. These goggles have taken the pain and hassle out of my swim and let me focus on technique. I love em'.
I note that some have mentioned that the mask presses against their brow. I get that some too, but it isn't bad, in my case. These goggles, for me at least, were a vast improvement over any I've had in the past.

Summary: They did leak and fog
Comment: I got a snug vacuum fit, but after about 15 minutes, water found its way into the mask. I think the seal is designed to work pretty well unless you happen to squint or move your brows, which can then break the seal and let water in. I managed to tighten it up to where I couldn't break the seal, even if I tried, but then it was very uncomfortable. At this point it was too late anyway, as it had already fogged up. The anti-fog coating didn't seem to do much. The one thing that I did really like about this design is how easy it is to tighten and loosen the strap without removing the goggles. There are two little levers, one on each side, that release tension in the strap when pushed in, and then you just have to pull the strap to tighten it up again.

Summary: The BEST
Comment: I have tried Aqua Sphere's Seal and XP model goggles and neither compare to the Vista. I've used all of these in the pool and open water and the Vista far exceeds the others in fit, comfort and visibility. Unlike the other models, I have had no leaking or fogging with the Vista whatsoever. These are Aqua Sphere's top of the line goggle, but the extra few bucks are well worth it. I have turned on several friends to them with the same results. It is rare to find a product that is perfect, but for me it is the Vista.

Summary: Roman Nose Crunch
Comment: The visibility with this mask is great and it is well made. My only complaint is it presses hard on the bridge of my nose (Roman Nose with high bridge) and has left it tender for a couple of days. It replaced a Seal XP swim mask that was more comfortable on my nose but started to leak after about a year. Not bad, but I was hoping the silicone seals on this mask may last longer. I will continue to use this mask but I may be buying a replacement Seal XP because it fit my face better.

Summary: Very good, but...
Comment: Yes, these are very good. I swim everyday. There is no leaking, the fit is exceptional, and visibility is superb. But, after less than 6 months the strap broke, if there is ANY wetness on my face the seal won't hold and if I scrunch my forehead the seal won't hold, and I have to use eye wash and leave some on the inside while I swim or it fogs up in less than a few minutes. However, I will get these again if I can't get LLBean to replace or send me a replacement strap, AND I will buy them on Amazon--less expensive (every little bit helps). Unless someone knows of a better mask.
