Summary: Very disappointed child
Comment: ANTonline shipped this Daisy BB Gun to us in the original box, just slapped a label on the actual box and shipped it, which is different than all other Amazon products which are packaged. This was inconvenient at Christmas time (!), and the box was dinged up a bit. Not a huge deal. The cocking lever was difficult from the first use, even for an adult. It is supposed to click and did not so I suspected it was not working right. No way for a 10 year old to work the mechanism. It fired three times and was pretty accurate. On the fourth try the cocking lever slipped and became completely loose. There is no way to repair at home. The metal band on the stock slipped around from first use. Overall poor quality compared to our other BB Guns (Remington). I'm supposed to mail it to Daisy for a "gunsmith" to work on (yeah right!). I emailed the Daisy company as directed and they have not contacted us back after almost a week. Now I have a $40 toy and a very disappointed child. Will run to Kmart, buy another brand, and then deal with Daisy. I can't figure out why others have rated this high, it really looks cheap, and performed that way.

Summary: More power than I expected
Comment: I just purchased one for my eight-year old son. After reading many reviews on here, I did not think it would be that powerful, but (wow!) I am (happily) surprised at its power. My very first shot was from about 40 feet away, and I hit a Coke can--the BB went THROUGH the can. While it's obviously not over-poweful, I would just like to add for those considering it that it does possess enough "kick" to make it fun for the kids.

Comment: This was purchased for a gift to someone who had this very same gun when he was a child... His Mother also purchased the "Christmas Story" movie to go along with it... He loved it... and she also bought some BB's for him, glad she did, since the first thing he asked was "where's the BB's?", lol... A walk down memory lane.

Comment: Bought this BB gun for my 22 year old Newphew for Christmas as that is what he asked for. Sounds to me like he loves it!
