Comment: This thing is junk. But then again so is Sony Ericsson for making phones compatible with just their products. It didn't fit my phone even though it said it would. Don't bother unless you like wasting money.

Comment: I bought this to use with our Sony Ericsson W580i. We have a 2.5mm headset we wanted to adapt for the phone.
Not only doesn't this item work at all, (calls won't dial/calls stop) it is extremely hard to get in and out of the phone. I bought two, and one of them broke on the first try.

Comment: I think people must have bought this for the wrong purpose. I bought it to attach to a 2.5 mm headset and it works perfectly.

Comment: this clearly says it is a 2.5mm jack. that means you can only use HEADSETS with it, not headphones. headphones require a 3.5mm jack. still, wish they made a 3.5mm that was set up exactly like this one.
