Summary: Good Starter
Comment: The I got the guitar for my daughter this Christmas. I opened it to make sure it worked, not to my surprise the amp didn't have the power cable and it didn't work with the 9 volt battery it came with.
The guitar itself seems to be pretty sturdy. It is basically like the larger ones, frame wise. The neck is smaller for the little ones, so they don't have to stretch their arms as much. I recommend buying a separate set of strings, cause the ones supplied are cheap.
Basically, I think the guitar itself with the sling is worth a $100 bones without the other stuff, so I don't feel as ripped off about the amp thing. plus I planned to buy a separate amp anyways I've heard these cheap ones produce so crappy sounds, figured I will get enough of that while she learns so I'm hoping a better amp will help with the headaches.
