Summary: Overpriced Baby Oil
Comment: Ok, so it's not exactly baby oil, but this stuff definitely isn't worth the money. When my wife found out that she was pregnant she started using this stuff twice a day (morning and evening) every single day. From three weeks pregnant right to birth at 38 weeks, she never missed a day and she STILL got stretch marks. Now, the stretch marks really aren't that bad, just a couple on the hips, so one could argue that it would've been worse without the Bio Oil. Unfortunately, there's no way to ever really know. Regardless, for the price of this stuff, and the frequency with which she was using it, she shouldn't have gotten any at all.

I give it two stars because it does work as a moisturizer. I can't knock it there. But if you expect to prevent or get rid of stretch marks, you'll probably be dissapointed. I doubt this works much better than a regular bottle of cocoa butter that costs a fourth of the price.

Comment: I live in a semi-arid state and our skin gets very dry, especially in Winter, and Bio-Oil really makes my skin feel moisterized and feeling great. I love it! I will order it again!

Summary: Worked for me!
Comment: I saw a commercial on TV and it caught my eyes. Immediately ordered it (from Amazon, of cource). I've been struggling with acne for years, I have acne scars all over my face (I'm in 30s). Although I don't get many breakouts as I used to, I still have one or two zits come out and they are big, painful ones. When they finally heal, it leaves dark, red-brownish scar. I really wanted them go away.

I've read all the mixed reviews, so didn't expect much. But it worked! I am pleasantly surprised. I only applied at night after I wash my face. Though the texture is light for oil, it does get greasy when applied, I don't think it's appropriate for morning application on face. As many have mentioned, it is oil afterall. However, when I woke up in the morning, greasiness are gone and my skin feels soft and moisturized.
I've been using this once a day for 3 weeks now and I DO see a difference. The unevenness and redness are significantly reduced. I'm not saying they are completely gone, but acne scars look much lighter now. A surprizing side effect is that I haven't got any breakout since I started using this product. My skin is finally acne-free! I've tried many, many things over the years, but never thought of applying oil on my skin rather tried to avid it. I don't know if this still works during summer time as my skin tends to get oily, but I'll keep using it. I know it didn't work for some people but it did great job on my acne-prone skin. Thank you Bio-Oil!!

Summary: Oily, no results!
Comment: I was embarrassed putting this greasy product on my face every morning,it is quiet oily. Furthermore after using this product for 3 months I saw no difference. Waste of time and money, plus your sacrificing your skin's appearance for no good reason. Listen I am being honest, this doesn't work, sorry to bust your bubble, I know people read these reviews hoping that people claim that the product really works but honestly it doesn't, I bought 4 bottles, used all...and I was disappointed.Thanks bio-oil.

Summary: Helped Moisturize but did not help my scar
Comment: I tried Bio Oil to help with scars I got from an accident. Unfortunately, after more than 8 weeks of using every day I did not see a difference in my scars. My skin in general did feel softer..it definitely is a good moisturizer/hydrator - helped smooth skin texture of dry legs..especially good after bath/shaving. I then tried Scaraway silicone sheets which helped tremendously with my scar. It flattened the red bumpy lines and faded the red within a few weeks, so scaraway is definitely better for scars, but I will still use BioOil for skin conditioning in general.
