Summary: Not really accurate...
Comment: I gave three stars for the affordability of this product and it works fine after 2 years. But it will not give you an accurate blood glucose reading. A few times I did the kit and a hospital blood test on the same time, same day, and I always have to ADD 10 to AccuCheck's reading compared to my actual lab results. So that's what I always do now, plus 10.

Comment: We have beene using this gadget since 2002. Its durable and has been working fine all this while. The instrument gives a very rough estimate and hence if you need a exact figure you may have to average out the values. Overall I have been recommending my family and friends this instrument.

Touchable test strips with capillary action require a very small blood sample (1 microliter). Apply blood to the test strip in or out of the meter. Alternative site testing option. Test blood sugar from palm, forearm, upper arm, thigh, or calf.
