Comment: For those who do not want to hassle with a ear bluetooth while driving, the BlueAnt Supertooth is just the product to have. It installs easily; it gets clipped to your visor and connects, when on, to get incoming calls. I did have to return the first one I ordered because the on/off mechanism broke and I'm hoping the replacement will not have the same problem.

Comment: We purchased the BlueAnt Supertooth as a gift for my father in law. He is not very tech savvy so we wanted to get him something easy to use due to the new California laws requiring hands free driving. He had an older model razor phone which had some difficulty syncing with the blueant. Calls were intermittently dropped when trying to use the speakerphone with the older razor. When we tried to sync it with my husband's newer blackberry, the problems were resolved and the speakerphone worked great. Sound quality is exceptional and you hardly hear any background noise. The Blueant also requires no real installation so you don't have to mess with any of your stereo components. My father in law ended up upgrading his phone to a newer Nokia and has had no problems with it syncing with the Blueant. I would've given the product 5 stars but downgraded it to 4 just because of the initial syncing issues. Just make sure that your phone is compatible with the Blueant and it will save you some time.

Comment: Great handsfree device for my Blackberry! Clips right onto the visor and allows me to drive and talk without being distracted. This unit is extremely easy to use and a great value for the money. Amazon had the best price!

Comment: We purchased 5 for our family. We have had issues with all of them.The speaker has went out on one so far. The mic will not stay in the off position on any of them we have only had them about 3 weeks. Blue Ant needs to do some thing to improve their quality.

Summary: Good sound, bad design
Comment: The speaker is remarkably good on this unit, providing clear full sound. The microphone is adequate, requiring you to speak strongly (like you were in a play) to be heard well, but generally performs well. The part that I didn't like was the part that retains the microphone when you turn it off. It acts a bit like a ball point pen, you push the microphone in and it stays, turning the unit off. You push on it again and it pops out, turning the unit on. The problem is that when my car get hot, something inside warps and causes the unit to stick and not release the microphone to turn it on. If you tap it hard, the microphone will pop out, but then the mechanism will not hold when you try to push the microphone back in again to turn it off. I was able to successfully open the unit and remount the retainer mechanism back into place and it would work until it got hot again. Again, this is a good unit providing your car doesn't get too hot inside.
