Summary: I tried 2 espresso cups instead
Comment: This is probably the best notebook stand in the market, but I didn't purchase it. Instead I raised my laptop using a different system. I went to the kitchen and picked up two espresso coffee cups, then turned them upside down and placed them just under the two hind rubber feet of my laptop effectively raising it just above 2".
The results:
1) Open ventilation channels and instant cooling.
2) Ergonomic position for hands and more comfortable view of the screen.
3) Instant gratification.
4) Very stable notebook, it does not move because the two front rubber feet keep it in place.
The notebook that I use is a TOSHIBA Satellite

Comment: This is a great product. Very simple. Easily folds away. Very durable. Keeps the laptop cool. This product has exceeded all my expectations. Also, the laptop does not slide on the stand, and the stand itself stays stationary.

Comment: This laptop stand is a perfect replacement for my old, folding plastic stand (which broke after 8 months of high-impact daily use). The metal construction seems much sturdier, and I like the fact that it's light and easy to fold up, so that it occupies less space in my book bag. It relieves the ache in my neck by lifting my laptop screen up to a better angle, and my wrists are happier too.

Summary: A Great Solution
Comment: This is a great product. I didn't want a cooler that requires a fan and this one works great. Plus it folds up and is so portable. The other bonus I didn't expect is that it raised the laptop to a wonderul and ergonomically correct height (tilts up in back) and makes using the keyboard much easier. I got this one for my daughter to take to college but have taken it over myself so now I have to order her another one!
