They have a bit of glycerin in them which makes them great from smokers or colds, etc. But they taste so good you will want to buy a big tin (15 oz.) to keep your smaller tins refilled when travelling.Absolutely every person I intriduce them to loves them and is amazed at the taste and quality of this product. As a classy little gift, it will long be remebered by the recipient. Great for business and life, both. Although often classified as hard candies, they are actually soft like a hard gummy bear consistency. They last a long time in your mouth, even if chewed, and for a real taste blast, pop 2 or 3 in your mouth at once and savor the fruit taste like a shot of heroin for your tastebuds. More Reviews

The pastilles were invented around 300 years ago in Britain (still greatly known under the original name "Allenbury's") and the pastilles are still being manufactured mainly by hand using only the best raw ingredients.
