Customer Rating: Summary: 3M Indoor window film Comment: I like the Branded 3M merchandise, because it has enough thickness to apply easily. When you shrinh it it gooes smooth and pretty clear. The 3M tape separates fairly easily to apply it and hold the plastic well. I have used private labeled store brands before and they they don't compare to 3M.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty Good Comment: Bought this for my apartment and it appears to work well. There are small, almost unnoticable lines in the film but you can barely see them. Also, the film becomes very noticeable over the window when I turn a my desk lamp on (about 1.5 feet away). It is still slightly drafty (I think it's just a cheap window) but the film cuts the draft down noticeably. Saw a commercial for Duck brand film that is sold in WalMart stores, probably would have bought that in-store to save on the 80% s&h charge.
A note: 3M is back at they're old tricks, practically giving away their double stick tape (retails for about $6) so you buy their film for $10. It may be more economical for you to buy the 3M tape, which I hear is the best, and use it on Duck brand film. For the same price as the 2-window 3M kit you can get a 5-window Duck kit (3M's version is $18). However, I personally don't know if Duck is any good.
Customer Rating: Summary: Little more pricy, but works well. Comment: This is a very good window sealing kit for the indoors. I used this brand last year, paid a slight bit more, but the 3-m tape is so much better than others (except for maybe frost kings indoor kits). This is a single sheet of plastic to cut, can be a hassel, but with my smaller bay window area, it covered the 3 smaller windows instead of 2 standard windows for me. Lasted all winter. In combination with the 3-m outdoor kits, I probably save quite a bit last winter (so many fewer drafts). Check out the frost king indoor products as well.

Imagine how much heat is lost through the small cracks and crevices in the window frames around the house. During the winter months it is a good idea to insulate the windows to cut down on your heating bill and eliminate drafts. Contains two, 62" x 84" sheets of film For interior use 1/2" x 12 yards of tape Finishes two, 3' x 5' windows Clear as glass
