Summary: Does run on newer iMac with OS X 10.5 if ...
Comment: This version of Oregon Trail will run on a new mac running OS X 10.4 or 10.5 if you can get a copy of the New York font from an older mac and copy it onto your newer mac. It does have problems with the sound, however. If you turn the music off, it is usable, although not great.
So if you have a new mac, don't waste your money unless 1) you really, really want this game, 2) you can find the new york font and know how to install it, and 3) you are willing to put up with poor sound.

Comment: This game is not compatible in MAC Computers. Never buy this game if you have a MAC. The company that makes the game is no help either. I asked them for assistance they never returned an answer.
I wish I had done thorough research on this game before I bought it from the seller on this site. He knew it did not work. If I were to sell a product I would not have left this out. A big disappointment...of the seller and the game. I was unable to play.
