Summary: One of the Very Best Knitting Magazines Available
Comment: There are a number of knitting magazines on the market, but only two that are top notch--and this is one of the two. As a knitter, I can't possibly be without either one. The patterns are elegant, the articles relevant and the ads are for the top of the line yarns, books and knitting accessories. You're not a knitter without this subscription!

Summary: Great magazine, lousy service
Comment: I really love Vogue Knitting. I've got every issue since 1983. However, I no longer subscribe because their service is so bad. Issues don't show up, and heaven forbid you ever move!
It costs more to buy on the stand, but in the end much more satisfying. Or better yet, eBay!

ordered on february 27. supposedly shipped on mar 1 2008 still havent recieved this item. check the link and it still is located in new jersy's ups office

Summary: One of the three best US knitting magazines, but I've had a problem with errors in patterns
Comment: I used to knit, gave it up about 20 years ago, and have now returned. Vogue Knitting was and is still there. Some Vogue patterns are over the edge; others are very wearable. I think that Interweave has more "normal" patterns, but Vogue's are more stylish. I am making a Vogue sweater and ran into an error. I went to the website where there was one correction. I sent an Email to Vogue (as directed) inquiring about my correction, and I am still waiting to hear - since that was December, I guess I'll never hear.

Summary: high style, great creativity
Comment: I love this magazine above all the others. There are more exciting knittable and wearable items per issue than I have seen in the competitors. Some are outlandish to me, but I like it when a designer tries something really new.
I am only disappointed in the website, which doesn't quite have its act together, and some promised free patterns aren't available, and two of those are must knit items for me.
I would say that this is not for the beginner or even a new intermediate, these are challenging patterns and techniques, but that's what I'm looking for. If you want beginner info EZ is the person to go to. And she's great, I still refer back to her, but I want more, and Vogue delivers
