Has a good weight to it, but yet I don't know I have it on. I ordered the 16" which falls just at the nape of my neck. My husband loved it when he saw it. You will not be disappointed with the shine and the quality of this chain. It's very very sturdy, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I plan to buy more silver jewelry now.
