Comment: This mat was delivered within a few days with free shipping and an excellent price. I am very pleased. The mat is the same 1/4 inch depth as my other mat, however the material is superior, as it provides a firmer support and cushion of my knees, hands, feet and spine. I would recommend this mat and Amazon to anyone. I have always received exceptional service with Amazon.

Summary: COULD BE STICKIER
Comment: I am enjoying this new mat. I have tried putting it in the sun to make it stickier, but maybe I have not done it enough times. The smell did not bother me, I clean it with a lavender scented non toxic cleanser. I like that it is a bit longer, I almost wish I would have got the 81". I didn't because I read it was too heavy, and I didn't want to get in anyone's way in Yoga class! It would have been fine. This one is great too! I do slip a little.

Comment: I bought this mat about a year and a half ago and love it! It is very thick, which makes it much more comfortable than thinner mats. It is also very sturdy, which makes it a lot better for balancing poses than the typical squishier yoga mats. I was traveling last week and had to use a mat at the studio--the squishiness and thinness of the mat made my feet hurt a lot! I bought my boyfriend the purple travel one and he liked it, but thought it was too short so then I bought him the 85-inch black mat and he loves it!

It is extremely durable, dense, and will last about a century (rough estimate!) before it ever starts to break down.
