Summary: THIS MOVIE IS VHS ONLY
Comment: It is a great movie but it is kind of cursed for me.
Second Buyer returns it back and swears that it should be DVD and tells me that I have to give him/her full refund since it is not his fault and the movie was listed as DVD.
It is VHS listing, it is VHS tape, it requires VHS player - if you don't know - it a previous century device that plays a magnetic tape in a black box if you still know what it is. Please pay attention when buying that this is a VHS tape and i don't think it exists on DVD yet. Do not expect HDTV quality from this tape, remember that you couldn't skip scenes and you have to rewind the tape after watching.

Comment: River Citiy Books rules it...timely, great selection of wonderful cinema on VHS not available on DVD...only a fool would have tossed his or her VCR mang...Bye from River City. Do it, just do it do it.

Summary: Yes!!!
Comment: I love this movie!!! Although it meant to be frightening, it turns out to be funny. Paige's naiveté leads her to an Ouija board. It belongs to the previous owner of her apartment, who happens to be a dead tranny exotic dancer. The dead woman manipulates Paige, and eventually possesses her.
The guys are pretty, and I love how a painter is allowed to buy a new apartment! I love it!

Summary: The acting is the only scary thing about this flick
Comment: A cousin of mine picked this up at some dive of a video rental & sales place when I visited the DC area a few years back. His purchase was mainly due to his curiosity over the whole Ouija board dealie, and he probably figured this flick would give him a little insight on the whole thing. Which, we soon discovered, was like watching a `Police Academy' movie to get insight on real-life police officers.
Actually, I think he was hoping to see a few nudies, what with the slightly tarted-up star of the movie (Ami Dolenz as Paige) lookin' a bit seductive on the video box cover (BTW the box cover to the video my cuz bought was different from the one shown on the product page), combined with the `R' rating. Oddly enough, there were almost no nudies, save for a few black-and-white photos of the evil undead villain b!+c# out to take over the heroine's body after contacting her via that evil, no-good Ouija board.
Fortunately, there's enough naughty language for this to earn an `R' rating, a highly derivative plot, and acting bad enough for me to understand why I never saw this one playing at the local multiplex when it was first released. I wouldn't even place this among my so-bad-it's-good cheeseball movies collection. And, to top things off, it was the least scary so-called "horror" flick I've ever sat through. Oddly enough however, I am interested in checking out the first `Witchboard', if for nothing more than to see if it was really good enough to justify this lackluster follow-up...

Summary: Almost As Good As The First
Comment: The first one was a classic but this one is pretty good too. It's along the same lines as the first one about a woman being terrorized by a vengeful spirit who was contacted through a Ouija Board. It haunts the apartment and makes things go bump in the night. It becomes more and more vicious as it kills people by causing bizarre accidents. Then it begins to take over the woman's body by possessing it. Pretty scary stuff!
