Summary: My Marriage was forever changed because of it!!
Comment: I have been recommending this book to women for years. I have been purchasing this book for wives as gifts for years. I have even started a ministry because of my testimony due to this book and how God used Stormie to write this book. I had the previlege of meeting her at the Threshing Floor Conference and sharing my testimony with her. We embraced with the love of Christ, and she told how proud she was.
Before I read the book, I was in the process of leaving my then unsaved husband and my sister brought this book for me. I prayed, I fasted, and then i went prostrate before the Lord for my husband's salvation. I did everything to the letter this book told me to do and 75% through the book my husband surrendered his life to Christ. Years later, I still read this book and expect God to do a new thing everytime and He does. 13 years of marriage and I know this was a major tool that God used to save my marriage and to build it. I am also the author of Prostrate Before Him the novel and journal.Prostrate Before Him or google my book title for my workshop in Charlotte, NC.
I pray that if you are considering getting this book you will get it.

Comment: This book is a must have for all women who want to build, strengthen, and lift up their marriage to God. He will heal, repair, and restore your marriage. This book opens your eyes and heart to allow Gods blessings to work through your powerful prayers, as a praying wife.

Summary: For the Easy Times and the Hard Times
Comment: It is true that Stormie Omartian speaks from a lot of painful experiences that we may not all share. I have prayed some of these prayers during difficult times in my own marriage and seen results (not genie magic, but God-made change in me and my husband). But these prayers are not only for the tough times. Husbands can always benefit from prayers for their jobs, relationships with other family members, or handling of money. Don't be put off by "how can I pray for him if I don't even like him?" If you like your husband right now, that's great! It will be that much easier to pray for him. :-) But since the author has come from and THROUGH such difficult time in her marriage, she has a testimony of the power of prayer. I continue to find this book a wonderful blessing.
