Customer Rating: Summary: The best from Grisham Comment: This is the best movie based on a John Grisham novel. With excellent performances by Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey and Sandra Bullock. Also with Kevin Spacey, Ashley Judd and Donald and Kiefer Sutherland.
Customer Rating: Summary: one of the best Comment: This is quite possibly the best movie I have ever seen, and definitely among the best ever made. The subject matter in this movie is kind of clihe (story of a racist Southern jury, blah blah blah) but no other movie portrays it this well. For four dollars, I definitely got my money's worth. Some of the violence is a little unrealistic, but it simply serves as a hyberbole to enhance the themes of the story. I'm a guy who doesn't show much emotion but I nearly cried at the end of the movie. It is one of the most impactive movies I have ever seen.
Also, as a young guy who does not watch very many movies, I was kind of surprised at how attractive Sandra Bullock was in 1996. She was definitely hot back then, haha. :-)
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent movie! Comment: This is one of the most heart-touching movies I've seen. Recommend it to anyone :)
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Cast, Great Performances = Great Movie! Comment: Sandra Bullock, Samuel L Jackson, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Spacey... this film is packed with awesome actors and a reknown director couldnt really go wrong... and on top of that an amazing story told in a most shocking way is really a must have for any film.
The story is about racism and the southern states, a rape and a murder put the balance of justice to the test, the movie opens for debate whether the sorrowed father should be freed or the law must be followed.
With great pleasure I recommend this movie for any adult or teenager. Children should be advised better although the plot might not interest them there are a couple of strong scenes that might mislead them
Customer Rating: Summary: Time to Kill Comment: Time to Kill is a great reminder of how prejudice is still a realty in today's society. It is heartbreaking and rewarding at the same time.

John Grisham's bestseller A Time to Kill hits the screen with incendiary force, directed by Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever, The Client). Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Matthew McConaughey and Kevin Spacey portray the principals in a murder trial that brings a small Mississippi town's racial tensions to the flashpoint. Amid a frenzy of activist marches, Klan terror, media clamor and brutal riots, an unseasoned but idealistic young attorney mounts a stirring courtroom battle for justice. The superb ensemble also includes Brenda Fricker, Oliver Platt, Charles S. Dutton, Ashley Judd, Patrick McGoohan, Chris Cooper and both Donald and Keifer Sutherland. These and other talents make A Time to Kill "one of the year's most powerful films" (Jeffrey Lyons, SNEAK PREVIEW/ABC WORLD NEWS NOW).
