NAL Worldwide Announces Two New Key Executive Positions
Strengthens focus in retail industry solutions and organizational growth.

Worldwide, today announced the appointment of two new key executive positions.
Karen Galena, Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions – Retail, and Denneen Ford,
Vice President, Human Resources. These leadership additions are a part of NAL
Worldwide’s growth and development strategies, as a result of its launch earlier
in August 2005, when its acquisition of SIRVA Logistics was completed.
Karen Galena is a 20-year veteran of the supply chain industry, with
particular expertise in supply chain challenges facing retailers, construction,
installation, fixture and signage manufacturers. Before joining NAL Worldwide as
Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions – Retail, Karen was Vice President,
Specialized Logistics with Sears Logistics Services where she was responsible
for SEARS.com, catalog, product repair services, and The Great Indoors logistics
activities. Prior to joining Sears, Karen was Vice President, Logistics, for Hub
Group Distribution Services where she was responsible for all sales and
marketing. Karen holds a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State
University and a M.B.A. from the University of Detroit. Karen has served with
the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals as an officer for both the
Local Roundtable and Executive committees, and as a member of the Warehousing
Education and Research Council.
This additional leadership role was
created by NAL Worldwide to better service its growth position in the retail
segment of new store openings, remodels, and seasonal projects.
As Vice
President, Human Resources, Denneen Ford will provide strategic organizational
direction to enhance NAL Worldwide’s business growth plans. Denneen has held a
variety of human resource management roles in the services industry. Before
joining NAL Worldwide, Denneen served as Vice President of Human Resources Ops
for SIRVA, Inc., where she provided strategic human resource planning,
organization development and talent acquisition support to the Moving Services
and Global Sales organization. She also maintained a key role in company’s
acquisition/divestiture activities. Prior to SIRVA, Denneen spent 10 years with
North American Van Lines, where she held leadership roles in compensation,
benefits, payroll and employee relations. Denneen holds a B.S. in Management
from Indiana University, as well as SPHR certification from Society of Human
Resource Management (SHRM).
The announcement of these new executive
positions is the latest in a series of strategic moves to strengthen NAL
