toy trains, educational segments, and funny toy train bloopers – all set to

12-year-old Jeff McComas, this delightful video is one that kids, grownups and
grandparents will love!
In The Final Show, engineers of all ages will:
· Learn about Richard Kughn, a.k.a “Little Richie,”
the Detroit real estate developer who, as a child, dreamed of one day owning the
Lionel Train Company. While he was making his fortune building some of the
largest shopping centers in the country, Lionel became available. In 1985,
Little Richie’s dream became reality as his offer to purchase Lionel was
accepted and Kughn became the new owner of Lionel Trains.
· Enjoy watching an intricate HO layout being built,
step-by-step.
· Be introduced to the first Freedom
Train, The Spirit of 1776, which traveled to 26 cities from 1947 to 1949 in
celebration of the end of WWII. Carried aboard were such icons as the Mayflower
Compact, Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, and George Washington’s copy of the
Constitution.
· Marvel at a whimsical Lego layout,
where everything, including the trains, are made of Legos.
· Take a look back at the series’ best moments,
including the gorgeous Southern Pacific Daylight streaming around a curve,
hilarious bloopers, and beautiful, incredibly detailed toy train layouts.
· Visit TM Books & Videos’ studios and see where
all the fun and thrills are filmed.
· Join Jeff as
looks back on his role as host, which started when he was six-years-old. Watch
him grow up right before your eyes!
James Coffey’s soundtrack of playful,
light-hearted original songs once again sets the perfect mood for railroad
enthusiasts. Fascinated by the many musical genres and styles growing up, Coffey
began exploring them all, eventually adapting them into his own unique
compositions. Having left his 12-year music education career behind, Coffey has
since become one of the most renowned composers of children’s music, working on
many of TM’s productions.
Also to be released September 20 is Oh No!,
highlighting toy train misadventures -- behind-the scenes bloopers, blunders,
outtakes and mishaps that have occurred during production of the popular I Love
Toy Trains series. The 55-minute Oh No! features whimsical, original songs also
by James Coffey, mixed with hilarious bloopers. Wall-to-wall, side-splitting
laughs from the milkman missing the mark, barrels behaving badly and a reluctant
ROCKET on the rocket launcher. OH No! is rompishly entertaining and will be
available for a suggested retail price of $14.95 for the DVD and $12.95 for the
VHS.
