Christoph Weber Named Managing Director for Eaglepicher Wolverine GmbH
Christoph Weber has been selected to lead EaglePicher Wolverine Division’s European operations as managing director of EaglePicher Wolverine GmbH. Weber will be responsible for the division's presence within the European market, working directly with customers as well as overseeing the company’s Öhringen, Germany, manufacturing operations.

lead EaglePicher Wolverine Division’s European operations as managing director
of EaglePicher Wolverine GmbH. Jay Pittas, EaglePicher Wolverine Division
president, made the announcement.
Weber will be responsible for the
division’s presence within the European market, working directly with customers
as well as overseeing the company’s Öhringen, Germany, manufacturing operations.
Weber brings many years of experience in business management to his
position with EaglePicher. Prior to joining EaglePicher Wolverine Division, he
served as managing director and previously as sales and engineering manager with
Takata-Petri AG, Aschaffenburg. He also held management positions with
manufacturers Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG and Metallgesellschaft AG, as well as
positions within e-commerce and the banking industry.
Weber holds a
degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim, with
additional study at Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic and the University of
Trier.
Wolverine Division is a worldwide supplier of rubber-coated
metallic and non-metallic gasketing for the automotive OEM and industrial
markets. The division, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2004, operates
plants in Michigan, Virginia, Florida and Germany, and a research and
development facility at its Inkster, MI, headquarters. The division distributes
more than 350 million products annually.
