Barry L. Abrahams Announced as New Chief
Executive Officer of GammaSight Technologies
GammaSight Technologies LLC, a Virginia based homeland defense
company known for its product line which rapidly detects weapons of mass
destruction in cargo containers, trucks and large containers via NIRIDS
(Non Intrusive Rapid Detection and Inspection System), announced today
that Barry L. Abrahams has been named to serve as the company’s chief
executive officer and president. Mr. Abrahams, 62, previously served as
senior vice president, business development for Raytheon Systems Co (NYSE:
RTN) and Hughes Aircraft Company. As a recognized business leader,
Abrahams brings more than 30 years of experience to GammaSight and was
selected to assist GammaSight in expanding their product line to meet the
growing need to protect ports, borders, airports and
infrastructure.

Technologies LLC, a Virginia based homeland defense company, announced
today that Barry L. Abrahams has been named to serve as the company’s
chief executive officer and president.
Abrahams, 62, has served as
senior vice president, business development for Raytheon Systems Co (NYSE:
RTN) and Hughes Aircraft Company. As a recognized business leader,
Abrahams brings more than 30 years of engineering, management, operations,
business development, strategic planning and executive experience to
GammaSight.
Prior to his current responsibilities, he was Raytheon
Systems Company’s senior vice president, responsible for overall business
development, marketing and strategic planning. Previously, Abrahams served
as senior vice president Mergers and Transition, for Hughes Aircraft
Company and prior to that led the overall business development, marketing
and strategic planning for the company. Abrahams has also held the
position of corporate vice president for Hughes Aircraft - Missile Systems
Division, Tucson, Arizona with responsibilities for overall business
development, marketing and strategic planning. He was also a member of the
policy board of Hughes Aircraft Company.

unanimously selected Abrahams based on his track record of leading complex
organizations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
