New JobFlash Connect to Seamlessly Integrate with HRIS Systems
JobFlash, the pioneer of speech recognition based recruiting solutions for hourly workers, today announced the implementation of JobFlash Connect™ on the heels of the company’s recent compliance certification by the HR-XML Consortium. Companies with HRIS systems seeking to reach job-seekers without computers can now integrate JobFlash's voice recruiting module.
Fremont, Calif. - August 31, 2005 - JobFlash, the pioneer of speech
recognition based recruiting solutions for hourly workers, today announced the
implementation of JobFlash Connect™ on the heels of the company's recent
compliance certification by the HR-XML Consortium.
“JobFlash Connect is
the missing link for companies using HRIS systems to reach out to job candidates
without internet access,” says JobFlash CEO & President Mike Krueger. “In
the hourly-wage market, that means connecting with the 67 percent of job-seekers
who aren't regularly online. HR-XML Consortium certification is the ultimate
assurance to our clients that our unique phone application system can be
seamlessly integrated with any HRIS system.”
With Connect, JobFlash
accepts job postings from any HRIS system in an Extensible Markup Language (XML)
format. Then, using JobFlash's telephone hotline, candidates apply to the posted
jobs and JobFlash returns XML candidate data documents to the HRIS system.
JobFlash can also include hyperlinks to sound files that were recorded by
telephone as Talking Resumes™, enabling hiring managers to listen to candidates'
spoken responses.
In a recent implementation, JobFlash worked with
several HRIS vendors to augment their applicant pool with phone applications for
a large enterprise. The JobFlash Connect system securely sent phone applications
in XML document format to the final client's HRIS system on a nightly basis.
“JobFlash Connect offers an easy to implement and scalable
implementation based on industry standards,” says JobFlash co-founder and Chief
Technical Officer Uday Walia. “Clients maximize their HRIS investments by simply
adding JobFlash telephone applications and eliminating manual data entry as well
as any manual integration burden.”
The HR-XML Consortium's data
interchange standards provide flexible, extensive templates that can readily be
used to integrate disparate systems.
“We are pleased that leading
technologies such as JobFlash's unique and widely used telephone application
system are now exposed and leveraged through integration using HR-XML's open
standards,” says Chuck Allen, executive director of HR-XML Consortium, Inc.
“More and more, HR decision-makers are making compliance with open standards
part of the criteria they use when procuring HR solutions.”
