Say Thank You to your Volunteers and Donors: Give Them "The Caring Heart"

Every non-profit and service organization needs a way to say thank you to the incredible people who generously give their time and donations to support these groups. Once you given out the pins, coffee mugs and certificates, it is often hard to find the ideal gift that carries the right message. Arlene Stepputat has written a book that has that perfect message, "The Caring Heart."

(PRWEB) June 10, 2005 -- Every non-profit and service organization needs a way to say thank you to the incredible people who generously give their time and donations to support these groups. Once you given out the pins, coffee mugs and certificates, it is often hard to find the ideal gift that carries the right message.

Arlene Stepputat has written a book that has that perfect message. It is The Caring Heart, and this small, beautifully illustrated color hardback book has already been used by many groups around the country to say those two important words: thank you.

“When I saw The Caring Heart at a local charity event,” says Gail Tylor, director of JobSmart, a non-profit that provides clothing for low income and homeless people actively seeking employment, “I knew it would be perfect to give to our dedicated volunteers for National Volunteer Week last April. Everyone was thrilled with the books. Not only the book beautiful, but it has a truly inspirational message.”

Arlene has been involved in non-profit organizations since she was in high school. Now the president of Integrity International, a management and consulting company, as well as the author of The Caring Heart, she helps non-profit organizations in making the best use of their volunteers. “The response to the book has been amazing,” Arlene points out. “We’ve had retirement communities giving it to all their nurses in honor of National Nurse Week; a large medical center in the Midwest gave out 500 copies to all their volunteers to celebrate their 45th anniversary, and parents have donated to school libraries because it moved them so much. I’m very pleased that people understand its message about the importance of helping others in order to make ourselves whole.”
