International Virtual Assistants Associations Announces New Board
Details of the newly elected members of this not-for-profit association that supports the Virtual Assistant industry.

(IVAA) (www.ivaa.org) is pleased
to announce their 2005-2006 Board of Directors. The IVAA is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the education and development of its members and the
Virtual Assistance profession. Their Certification programs – Certified Virtual
Assistant (CVA), EthicsCheckedTM, Real Estate Support Specialist (RESS) – are
internationally recognized as the most in-depth programs serving the VA
industry.
A Virtual Assistant is an independent entrepreneur who provides
administrative, creative, and/or technical services, utilizing technological
modes of communication and data delivery to assist clients in their area of
expertise.
Jeannine Clontz, Accurate Business Services (www.Accbizsvcs.com) in
Arnold, MO, is the new President. Clontz specializes in Realtor/legal support
and holds many industry certifications including IVAA CVA, EthicsCheckedTM, and
CRESS. She has won many awards, including the 2003 Don Earl Citizen of the Year
Award. Ms. Clontz has served IVAA on their Bylaws Committee, provided business
ethics presentations at two IVAA Summits (www.vasummit.org), and written ethics articles for the
IVAACast newsletter.
Debbie Tester is the new Vice
President/President-elect. Tester previously served as Historian and co-chair of
the 2004 Summit, IVAA’s annual conference. She is the Managing Partner of Outer
Office, LLC (www.outer-office.com) in Aurora, CO and specializes in
technical documentation, grant writing, research and analysis. Ms. Tester holds
the IVAA EthicsCheckedTM certification. Her clients include small businesses in
the engineering and IT industries, entrepreneurs, educators, and
attorneys.
Peg Vanderlipp, Tracys Landing, MD, has been serving her
clients virtually since 2000. Virtual Assistance 4 You (www.virtualassistance4you.com), specializes in website design,
desktop publishing, administrative tasks and database management. She is a
member of many organizations including the Bay Area Business Leaders Club.
Vanderlipp is the IVAA Secretary for 2005-2006 and volunteers in other
capacities for the Association.
The IVAA Treasurer is Kimberly
Thomas-Catanzaro of Bookkeeping & Secretarial Services (www.on-linescretary.com), located in Jupiter, FL. She has 15+
years office and bookkeeping experience, specializes in individual/small
business full charge bookkeeping, and offers office management, secretarial and
executive assistance, and credit and collections services to her clients.

Candy Beauchamp
the new Historian for the IVAA, owns OffAssist (www.offassist.com) located in
Austin, TX. Beauchamp and specializes in bookkeeping for small businesses. She
got her start more than a decade ago by being mentored by an Enrolled Agent (EA)
while attending the University of Hawaii. She opened OffAssist in 2002. Member,
American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
The 2005 – 2006 IVAA
Board of Directors is also represented by the following successful
VAs:
Sandra Giusti, Consider It Done Virtual Assistant Services (www.consideritdonebest.com), has a degree in Broadcast
Communication and started her business in 2002. She specializes in desktop
publishing, event planning, and marketing plan implementation. This is her
second year on the BOD and will focus on the continued implementation of the
IVAA Preferred Partner Program.
Raquel Nilson, Managing Director,
Executive Assistance International (www.VirtualExecutiveAssistant.com), provides support and
assistance to upper management, small businesses, and executives. She is a
member of the Tahoe Douglas Chamber of Commerce and is involved in the Filipina
Women Entrepreneurs organization. Nilson has also served on many IVAA committees
including the RFP, and Bylaws Committee.
Michele Hanson O’Reggio, A
Virtual Pro (www.avirtualpro.com ), is based out of Ontario. She has a BA
in Management with Distinction from the University of Toronto and specializes in
virtual sales and marketing services including online article promotion, ezine
marketing and lead generation. O’Reggio has a team of highly skilled and
efficient virtual professionals to ensure her clients benefit from a wide range
of services.
Lynne Norris, Norris Business Solutions (www.NorrisBusinessSolutions.com), New Millport, PA, opened her
business five years ago. She has a degree in business and 15 years
administrative office experience. Her experience in customer service,
transcription, and secretarial services allows her to offer businesses
professional and reliable administrative services.
Linda Siniscal, Third
Hand Secretarial Service, has been offering bookkeeping services as well as
administrative support to her clients since 1994. Her clients include coaches,
speakers, a non-profit, and other small business owners. She was recently
certified by the State of New Jersey as an SBE and WBE company.
Janice
Wlodarski, Progressive Publishing Services (www.propubservices.com),
offers desktop publishing, graphic design, and electronic document preparation
and management to her clients.
She holds a BSBA and has 20+ years experience
in the corporate environment. She is a certified MVA and will be heading the new
IVAA PR/Marketing Department.
