Local Technology Firm Awarded Multiple Year Government Contract

Castillo Technologies awarded GSA 8(a) STARS contract.

PHOENIX , AZ (PRWEB) June 16, 2004 -- Castillo Technologies, LLC, a Phoenix-based information-technology professional services provider to the public and private sectors, today announced it has received an 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) Multiple Award Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). It was awarded on June 1 by the GSA Small Business GWAC Center, part of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

The Small Business GWAC Center is designed to promote small-business utilization when purchasing technology solutions for the federal government. The contract has a three-year base term with two 2-year option periods, and covers eight distinct functional areas designated by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The program ceiling is $15 billion and will geographically cover the continental United States and some worldwide locations for federal civilian agencies and Department of Defense activities.

Castillo Technologies gives clients personalized, focused assessments, comprehensive or incremental LAN, WAN, and MAN build-outs, competitive sourcing of networking hardware/software and continuous technology support.
