in a variety of immigrant issues for the corporate sector as well as for
individuals. The firm recently expanded into the Jacksonville, Florida market.
The Law Office of Margaret Ioannides, PC counsels clients on all aspects of US
Immigration and Nationality law, including providing assistance with obtaining a
variety of non-immigrant visas, permanent residence/green cards, and
naturalization/US citizenship. The firm also assists corporate clients with
worksite compliance issues.

Ms. Ioannides adds, “As a boutique law

Ms. Ioannides graduated Phi Beta Kappa,
from the University of Florida, and then attended the prestigious joint degree
program in Law and Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She received both
her law degree and her Master of Science degree in the Foreign Service from
Georgetown University in 1996. Her studies concentrated in the field of
international law and relations, as well as international business.
Since graduating in 1996, Ms. Ioannides has worked, in both the public
and private sectors, in the field of U.S. Immigration and Nationality law. She
was selected into the Attorney General’s Honors Program, where she worked as an
Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice, Board of Immigration
Appeals, the highest national administrative tribunal for immigration law. She
has also worked for prominent law firms in Florida and Texas, handling both
employment based and family based immigration matters on behalf of corporate and
individual clients. Ms. Ioannides is fluent in both Spanish and Greek. She has
studied in Spain and the Netherlands, and has worked at the U.S. Embassy in
Athens, Greece.
Ms. Ioannides is a member in good standing of the
Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the
American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Austin Human Resource Management
Association, and the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Austin. She
has written on immigration law topics for the Austin Human Resource Management
Association and has been published in the Texas Lawyer and the Florida Bar's
International Law Quarterly.
Ms. Ioannides also frequently presents to
trade and community groups regarding immigration and related legal issues and
has been featured as an immigration expert on News 8 Austin and in the Austin
Business Journal.
