Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB via PR Web
Direct) July 13, 2005 -- Founder of "The Krane Academy of Motion Pictures,"
Mr. Jonathan Krane disagrees with the public statements made by Lynn University
regarding the Krane Academy’s separation from them. The matter is now scheduled
for mediation on July 20, 2005.
"The Krane Academy of Motion Pictures"
will be continuing with its curriculum in a new surrounding, located at the
"G-Star School of the Arts for Motion Pictures and Television" in West Palm
Beach, FL. The Academy begins its classes in September of 2005.
About
The Krane Academy of Motion Pictures
The Krane Academy, which begins classes
in September of 2005, provides a curriculum for aspiring film professionals with
hands-on experience in all stages of production, from finding the "right" idea
to developing and packaging the right script. Financing and physically producing
a feature-length film will also be an aspect of the program and the film will be
marketed to a Hollywood studio or independent distribution company.
The
certificate program's curriculum is based on Krane's "A Revolutionary Approach
to the Art and Science of Moviemaking: A Treatise of Fixing the Accidental
Industry." Krane purports that the motion picture industry is the only
century-old, multi-billion dollar unregulated industry in the world, and is
accidental because it has no articulated, published or agreed-upon processes,
activities, forces, powers, job functions, rites of passage or definitions of
commonly used words. He also believes that the same lack of regulation is the
cause of most of the financial and other issues confronting the movie industry
today.
Upon graduation, students will be awarded an advanced certificate
in motion picture production and be qualified to work as motion picture
producers. Additionally, alumni will be entitled to be managed by Krane who has
managed over 150 actors, writers and directors over his 25-year career in
Hollywood.
