to those interested in taking the Horizons program.
The Horizons program
allows students to receive classroom instruction through The American College
without physically being present on campus for a faculty lecture. Class lectures
created by the faculty of The American College are provided to the students in
DVD format. This pre-recorded format gives students the flexibility to attend
classes at a time and place that is convenient for them.
The DVD
lectures are part of the Horizons kit which also includes a moderator’s guide,
complete set of student materials, course review book, and student workbooks.

300 Financial Planning: Process and Environment, HS 311 Fundamentals of
Insurance Planning, HS 321 Income Taxation, HS 326 Planning for Retirement
Needs, HS 328 Investments, and HS 330 Fundamentals of Estate Planning. These
courses are the foundation of The College’s CFP® Certification Curriculum as
well as the Chartered Life Underwriter™ (CLU®) and Chartered Financial
Consultant™ (ChFC®) designation programs.
