Low-Cost Solution to Single-Channel Closed-Loop Ionizer Control
Novx Corporation introduces the Series 3150, an affordable ionization monitoring and control solution.
San Jose, Calif. (PRWEB) September 5, 2005 -- Novx Corporation, the leading
supplier of ESC/ESD-related monitoring instruments, cleanroom and ESD protective
area monitoring and control solutions, has introduced an affordable field charge
sensor and controller that will provide the flexibility to precisely monitor
and/or control an ionizer with a programmable monitor and has application for
stand-alone field charge detection for real-time monitoring and alarm.
This instrument is a microprocessor-based digital single-channel
closed-loop ionizer controller that provides real-time detection and alarm which
addresses customer demand to control a single ionizer at minimal cost. Novx has
developed this product to provide that solution for this application, while
retaining our consistent cost / performance advantage over any other possible
solution to meet the requirements of emerging technologies in many
industries.
The Series 3150 is for applications where the user needs
closed-loop monitoring and control of the single-fan ionizer controllers
providing balance control to +/- 0.2 volt. Novx has developed this product to
provide all the performance features of the Series 3300 but on a digital
platform with microprocessor control, address identification and programmable
alarm level set-points.
By listening to customer concerns regarding
ionizer balance monitoring and control, Novx has developed the Series 3150
technology to address this requirement. Novx has been providing closed-loop
ionizer control in a single fan control version for many years. The Series 3150
is an extension of this well-proven technology and allows the customer the
flexibility to control 1 fan with a more cost-effective solution.
This
instrument represents a direct response to strategic customer communication that
defines their process requirements for ESC/ESD-related monitoring for today and
tomorrow's processes. As a system approach, this will help reduce process
variations, decrease scrap/rework and improve process yields at the specific
workstation level. This helps to improve process yields and increase tool
availability with the end result being increased factory capacity. www.novxcorp.com/series_3150.htm
