TALL Magazine Launches TheTallMall.com: The biggest Online Tall-Friendly Shopping Site Ever
With over 350 individual store listings, www.thetallmall.com is the most comprehensive shopping resource for tall men, women, and teens.
Oakland, Calif. (PRWEB) May 23, 2005 -- TALL magazine, the only lifestyle
magazine targeting the needs of the more than 14 million men 6’2” and taller and
women 5’9” and taller (and tall teens), has officially launched www.thetallmall.com,
offering over 350 individual tall-friendly retailers and service
providers.
TheTallMall.com has been a special project that Everard
Strong, TALL magazine’s 6’9” publisher, has been working on for the past couple
of months, collecting, compiling and sifting through a myriad of resources.
Everard feels now is the time to unveil www.thetallmall.com to an eager and waiting
public.
“The one question you most hear from tall men and women is,
‘Where can I find clothes or services that fit me and my unique lifestyle?’”
says Everard, who includes himself in this group. “I created TheTallMall.com to
answer that question. If you are a tall man, woman, teen, or infant,
TheTallMall.com will be your first stop when looking for clothes, footwear,
furniture, or other tall-friendly resources.”
The site is divided into 11
different categories: Men’s, Women’s, and Young Women’s Fashions, Health and
Fitness, Services & Travel, Office, Footwear, House and Home, Toddlers and
Infants, and Sport and Recreation. Currently, the Men’s’ Fashion area alone
lists over 220 individual retailers and store locations, and the Women’s over
110 individual listings.
As comprehensive as the listings are, the site
was designed to grow and expand as new "discoveries" are added by shoppers and
retailers. For shoppers, he offers a simple way for them to recommend their
favorite store; For retailers and service providers, TheTallMall.com offers a
free basic listing on the site, and for a very small fee, their listing can be
expanded to offer more information.
“I believe that TheTallMall.com
offers maximum visibility for retailers looking to attract tall customers,” says
Everard, “While at the same time offering tall men, women, and teens a
convenient, central location to find all of their tall-friendly
resources.”
TALL Magazine, launched in February, 2004, is a bi-monthly
lifestyle publication devoted to men 6’2” and taller, and women 5’9” and taller
