Fort Collins, CO (PRWEB) May 6, 2005 -- The Northern Colorado chapter of eWomenNetwork will meet June 15 at The Lincoln Center, 417 West Magnolia in Fort Collins, Colorado. The featured speaker will be Dr. Judith Briles, who will present "When Women Work with Women." Informal networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This meeting kicks off the application process for the group's 2nd Annual “Extreme Business Makeover” Project. Those interested in participating, either as service providers or recipients, should contact Ann Clarke for details. The meeting will also feature the launch of the new eWN Writers’ Group, with an eWN authors’ book signing to celebrate where eWN members will sell and autograph books they have written.

Dr. Judith Briles' presentation, "When Women Work with Women," discusses the unique factors women use in communicating, dealing with and creating conflict. Do women undermine other women? Yes. Are their saboteurs in your midst? Most likely. You'll learn why, how and ways to change a toxic workplace and confront saboteurs in the midst. Judith's pioneering work in this area was first published in 1987 in Woman to Woman: From Sabotage to Support, the winner of the Chicago Tribune's Business Book of the Year.

Dr. Briles is an award-winning author, consultant and speaker. Recognized as an expert in workplace issues, she concentrates on common sense strategies and solutions that are adaptable to both personal and workplace environments. A prolific writer, Judith is the President of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association--Independent Publishers Working Together. CIPA's membership consists of 400 publishing companies and associated trade professions serving Colorado.

Attendees will connect with women who want to do business with other women, and discover new contacts, resources, alliances and partnering possibilities. This event is structured to enhance business development initiatives for female business owners and professionals, or those considering starting a business. There will be displays, food and "Accelerated Networking" which will allow each attendee to share what she has to offer.

About Ann Clarke
For more than 20 years as a marketing consultant and a national speaker, Ann Clarke’s personal mission has been to help women take their businesses to the next level of success. During that time, she’s privately mentored and publicly "preached" that networking and relationship marketing are the keys to success. Before eWomenNetwork, Ann had always found it challenging to help women connect with other women who needed their services. She is thrilled to be bringing this group to northern Colorado to help local businesswomen make high quality regional, national and international connections. We all prefer to do business with people we know, and what better way to connect than through eWomenNetwork. For more on Ann, visit www.annclarke.com.
